The town was named Tarabuco, and the statue in the plaza was being painted, to freshen it up. As we looked closer, it's a "conquistador" kinda guy, holding a horn in one hand, and with the other he's ripped out the heart of some guy, who was lying dead underneath him. It was creepy and ugly, I didn't even want to know the story behind it.

| Softest hat ever! |
Did I get the hat? Not yet. I'm going to look again in La Paz before we leave.
Here are some views of Sucre, (while we were on the bus, so they aren't great) you can see how pretty, and European it is. I keep forgetting I'm in Bolivia, it's a completely different vibe - which is good!
It was rainy so we decided this afternoon was for napping. Sorry, boring blog post today.
We went for dinner at a neat place - everywhere we have eaten here has been neat- and it was delicious! I had a thai soup and a steak, casie ate mini lobsters all night.
It's time to play Name that Fruit!
Jenn gets the point, the last one is called tumbo, its like a little passionfruit.
In honor of our yummy breakfast this morning at our hotel, when we had jelly from this fruit : who can tell me what casie is holding?

Glad you relaxed! I'm going to guess those are figs and now crasie is regretting all those lobsters.
ReplyDeleteNot regretting them yet :D
