We rode the bus overnight and arrived in Sucre at 5:00am. Oh the delicious sleep of the exhausted, with ear plugs, eye mask, and under the influence of sleeping pills! I felt nothing till we arrived.
We waited until a decent hour (7 am) and decided it was worth a try to find our hotel and leave the big suitcase until we could check-in. To our relief the guy let us in our room early! Yay! Sucre was scoring major points right away.
We have the cutest room, in the cutest hotel, with a real shower and toilet paper! After we cleaned up, we got some tasty breakfast at a cool cafe, and caught the bus to a castle at the edge of town. It's pink and has towers!

Then we visited the Cemetery, which seems like an odd tourist attraction, but it was like a park, well maintained and full of mausoleums. Some were familial, others based on their job, union, club, or army status.
This evening we found the local Kingdom Hall and attended the meeting, what a nice congregation we met! Everyone gets excited, "how long are you staying? " Oh, just another day, sorry.
But I could stay, this city is well organized, small, and pretty. And so far good food and coffee!

I'm glad Sucre cheered you guys up! The cemetery park seems quite quaint. Hope the rest of the trip goes as well!
